UMNO Kedah members who were involved in the meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at the Putra World Trade centre (PWTC) today were mum on the outcome of their meeting.
They also refused to share or discuss the issues brought up at the meeting today.
UMNO Kedah Wanita chief Datuk Maznah Hamid when met by reporters said she had nothing to share while Baling MP Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim who was also present said he has nothing to say.
Sik MP Dr Mansor Abdul Rahman also did not want to say anything to reporters when approached at PWTC today.
“No comments,” he said.
Media members who are still at PWTC are awaiting for a statement from UMNO Kedah deputy chief Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah.
The meeting which began at 4.30pm today was to discuss the position of Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
On Jan 20, several Kedah UMNO leaders, among them state assemblymen and MPs, declared no-confidence in the leadership of Mukhriz as the menteri besar and state UMNO liaison committee chairman.

They were led by Ahmad Bashah who had called on Najib to immediately make changes in the state leadership for the sake of Kedah UMNO.
Yesterday, UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said no disciplinary action will be taken against 14 Kedah UMNO division chiefs.
He said the UMNO headquarters monitored the press conference held by the Kedah Umno division chiefs on Jan 20.

UMNO deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who has waded into the crisis, has called on UMNO to focus on the people first in view of the latest crisis in UMNO Kedah.
In a statement on his Facebook page, Muhyiddin said he has been following the political crisis in Kedah and described it as 'very worrying'.

Muhyiddin urged UMNO leaders to resolve the crisis amicably, prioritising the needs of the people rather than personal gains.
Meanwhile, Mukhriz said said he leaves it entirely to the people to judge his performance after Barisan Nasional returned to govern Kedah following its victory in the 13th general election.
He said that his position as the Menteri Besar is from the mandate given by the people and on the consent of the Kedah Sultan following the Prime Minister’s recommendation.
He added that he will continue to focus on his responsibilities to serve as best he can.
