Datuk Seri Najib Razak need not bow to pressure from any quarter to relinquish his position as the Prime Minister, said PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

Instead, he said, Najib should be allowed to strengthen his position and be given the time and space to solve problems he is currently facing.

“Each Prime Minister has his own set of problems but changing the leadership is not the answer. Let him solve his problems first,” he said before attending the Terengganu state assembly meeting today.

“Problems are not solved by toppling each other,” he said.

He said accusations should not be the basis to remove a leader and stressed that as a leader, Najib faces many issues and problems.

He said in moving forward, the political scenario in the country should be matured and with high morals.

“We don’t want the same old scenario, Petronas, Maika Holding, PKFZ. Each Prime Minister has his issues and we use it to bring him down. This is not a good culture,” he said.
