Suspended UMNO deputy president, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today said he is still a member of UMNO.

When met at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport after he arrived from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam the 68-year-old politician gave his assurance that his loyalty remains with the country’s oldest political party.

Muhyiddin said that he will issue his statement following his suspension as UMNO Deputy President -- a decision made by UMNO Supreme Council after a meeting at the party’s headquarters in Menara Dato' Onn, Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, last Friday.





“I will issue a statement pertaining my suspension, my position and other related matters in two days,” said Muhyiddin.

A strong 100-odd supporters from Gabungan Ketua Cawangan Malaysia (CKGM) welcomed the politician who arrived at KLIA at approximately 6.30pm.
