Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Secretary-General Rafizi Ramli will submit documents pertaining to alleged corrupt practices in Selangor to the party president tomorrow.

He said, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will evaluate the matter before bringing it up at the party’s Political Bureau meeting scheduled tomorrow night.

“My report will be given to her (Wan Azizah) tomorrow insyaAllah, because our Political Bureau usually meets on Tuesday night.

“It is up to the president whether she wants to raise it with the Political Bureau or not, but I will submit it tomorrow,” said Rafizi to reporters at the Parliament lobby today.

The Pandan Member of Parliament added, Wan Azizah will also decide whether there is a necessity to bring the matter to the attention of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission for further investigation.

Previously, Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has described the latest allegations of corrupt practices with “requests for women during negotiations” as lies.

He also said his administration was facing a systematic smear campaign against the state government.

In a message via WhatsApp on May 19, Rafizi reportedly said he received complaints of demands for cash and women in dealings with the Selangor administration.

He who was initially reluctant to comment on or deny it, later acknowledged there exist negative elements in PKR which could potentially destroy the party.
