Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has refuted allegations of corruption in the Selangor administration and described them as lies aimed at weakening the spirit of civil servants.

"This is a campaign of lies against the Selangor government. The pointing of fingers without proof is a cowardly and irresponsible act," he said in response to reports in news portals of alleged corruption in the state's administration.

Azmin, who is also PKR deputy president, hopes those who have information and proof of corruption to report the matter so that the authorities can investigate.

In a message via WhatsApp, PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli reportedly said he received complaints of demands for cash and women in dealings with the Selangor administration.
