IN CONTINUATION of the systematic ethnic cleansing of Palestine by the colonial Israel, the Israeli occupying forces have, once again, committed over the last days aggressive atrocities inside the campus of Al-Aqsa Mosque and against the defenseless worshipers.
Last night, Friday 7th May, the whole world has witnessed the brutal and bloody face of the Israeli colonization, terrorism, and gangsterism.
Over 200 Palestinian wounded, 90 hospitalised after Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque and dispersed thousands of worshippers who packed into the mosque on the final Friday of Ramadan, as well as to protest in support of their fellow Palestinians facing forced eviction from their homes by Jewish settlers in Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood.
This Israeli barbaric act is a crime against humanity and flagrant violation of human rights and international law.
Israel continues to provoke tension and instability in the Palestinian occupied territories and pose threats to international peace and security in general, leading to new confrontations every day and unfortunate losses in human lives and rights.
Yet, the international community, represented by the United Nations, once again, prove its failure and disability to bring peace and protect human rights.
Israel must end all provocative and hostile acts and immediately call off all forced evictions, without conditions.
Failure in doing so will indeed escalate and deteriorate the situation on the ground and could lead to unprecedented results.
UN General Assembly, European Union, Arab League, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, all hold full responsibility to oblige Israel to stop its colonial and terrorist plans against Palestinians and comply with international law and respect human rights.
The Israeli occupying state has refused to honour and failed to fulfil the obligations and undertakings in accordance with which its UN membership was accepted.
Therefore, the UN General Assembly is urged to consider the cancelation of the Israeli membership in the United Nations General Assembly and all UN agencies accordingly.
The world should dare, at least once, to impose sanctions on Israel, boycott their fascist and apartheid regime that is pulling back the region and the whole world to the darkness of terrorism and racism.
We as Palestinians will continue our struggle until the Israeli apartheid policies and other colonial schemes are thwarted. Palestine is our indisputable right.
