Six new Ministers have been appointed to join the new Ministerial lineup in an announcement by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak after chairing a cabinet meeting earlier today.

Leading the pack is MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai who has been appointed Transport Minister.

Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong and MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong have been appointed Minister in the Prime Minister's Office.

Meanwhile, MCA vice-presidents Senator Lee Chee Leong and Datuk Chua Tee Yong are Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister and Deputy Finance Minister, respectively.

And finally MCA vice-president Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun will hold the portfolio of Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister.

These ministers will be sworn-in before the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong on Friday.
