Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is expected to add several MCA and Gerakan MPs into his Cabinet in a reshuffle scheduled today, reported The Malaysian Insider.

According to the report based on sources, no ministers will be dropped following the reshuffle.

Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong who won the Teluk Intan by-election last month, has confirmed a place in the Cabinet as promised by Najib.

Besides that, MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai will also be appointed a ministerial post.

After the 13th general election (GE-13), MCA had refused to accept any Cabinet post following the party's unsatisfactory performance in the polls.

Najib is expected to fill up four vacant posts since GE-13 including the Minister of Transport post, which is now being temporarily held by Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.

Three more vacancies are deputy minister posts for the Finance Ministry, Tourism Ministry and the Prime Minister’s Department.
