DEPUTY International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan today shared some tips on ways of increasing household income in 2016.

The tips are shared via his Twitter account using the hashtag #TambahPendapatan.

He cited the acronym “PKPK” which stands for education, skills, productivity, and entrepreneurship (Pendidikan, Kemahiran, Produktiviti, dan Keusahawanan) as relevant methods for people to boost their income, both short-term and long-term.

He reminded the people who are interested in online business but working in government and private sectors to follow their organisations' rules and regulations.

The UMNO information chief also urged people to look for incomes that are ‘halal’ or permissible.

Ahmad also shared a picture of him rubber-tapping, stating that he truly understands the struggle as both his parents were rubber tappers.
