TIKTOK users are on a mission, it seems, to help everyone take care of their skin and hair with all manner of natural remedies. But the social network is also brimming with DIY makeup and nail art tricks to help anyone and everyone become a beauty pro.

This week, it's a marbled nail art hack that's going down a storm. And while the result looks seriously impressive, it's actually really simple to achieve ... so long as you know the right trick. And for that, look no further than TikTok.

When it comes to nail art, some people seem to master all the techniques from A to Z, while others barely even know what a top coat is that's the final layer that's applied to protect the nail polish and improve its hold, in case you were wondering.

For years, social networks have been a real goldmine of information to help novices or the less gifted among us create meticulous nail art without having to set foot in a beauty parlor.

For several weeks, marbled nail art effects have been causing a stir on TikTok. The result looks so good that you might think it's hard to achieve, but TikTok videos have been proliferating lately, showing that it's actually a quick and simple hack.

Now, nail artists from all over the world are sharing their tips and tricks to help as many people as possible get the look.

Easy as child's play

To achieve this pro nail art effect, simply apply a base coat of the color of your choice, depending on the desired result. While waiting for this first coat to dry, select the other colors two, three, four or more, as you like and paint one line of each, next to each other, on a clean, flat surface.

Now all you have to do is use an extra-fine brush to mix them widthwise, then use a thicker brush to do the same thing lengthwise.

And that's it. All you have to do now is apply it like any other varnish, then finish it off with you guessed it  a top coat.

A user by the name of Born Pretty (@bornprettyofficial) has all kinds of marbled nail art ideas to recreate at home in a matter of minutes.

All color combinations are allowed, and you can even add glitter, rhinestones or other details to make your nail art even more unique.

You can even try French manicure style nail marbling, using TikTok's silicone pad hack. Paintbrushes at the ready!
