Thailand's National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has dropped its normal schedule and will convene for a special meeting at the Parliament at 9pm (10pm Malaysian time) on Thursday, citing 'special circumstances'.

Bangkok Post today reported that the NLA vice-president, Surachai Liangboonlertchai disclosed the new schedule and summoned assemblymen to be on standby around the clock for any special meetings to monitor all communication channels of the Parliament.

The NLA today postponed its scheduled Thursday agenda 'indefinitely'.
