Some 20 Malaysian companies are expected to participate in the International Exhibition on Agricultural Machinery, Gardening Horticulture and Floristics (GROWTECH 2020), which is scheduled to take place in Vietnam’s capital city Hanoi, in October this year.

The event organiser said that the trade expo, which will gather more than 150 exhibitors from a total of 12 countries, remains the first choice as a sourcing platform for the local and global agriculture, horticulture and floriculture industry players in the country.

"We believe more than 20 Malaysian companies will participate in the show,” said the organiser in an email reply to Bernama.

The trade expo, which is scheduled from Oct 28 to Oct 30, provides a good opportunity for manufacturers and distributors in the agriculture industry to exchange information and seek new markets.

“At the expo, participating businesses will have the opportunity to meet and discuss directly with potential customers, and enhance promotion and export activities for agriculture products, especially horticulture and floriculture which are among the most promising sectors of the Vietnamese economy," said the organiser.

The trade expo is expected to attract over 7,000 trade visitors from Vietnam and abroad in the agriculture industry to discuss and share their views and expertise in their areas of interest during the three-day show.
