Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah arrived in Singapore today to attend the State Funeral for former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew on Sunday.

His Majesty, who was accompanied by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, was greeted upon arrival at 5pm by Malaysian High Commissioner to Singapore Datuk Husni Zai Yaacob and officials from the High Commission.

Kuan Yew, who was also the founding Prime Minister of Singapore, died on Monday at the age of 91.

His Majesty will be among the foreign leaders and diplomats from around the world to attend the Funeral Service at the University Cultural Centre (UCC), the National University of Singapore, from 2pm to 5.15pm on Sunday.

As the lying-in-state of Kuan Yew at Parliament House continues into its final day until 8pm tonight, scores of people are still queueing to pay their last respects to him.

The live telecast of the State Funeral Procession and State Funeral Service will be available on Singapore's national television and radio, as well as online at www.rememberingleekuanyew.sg and www.facebook.com/rememberingleekuanyew.
