As of the first two quarters of this year, Huawei has overtaken Apple as the world’s second biggest smartphone manufacturer.

Apple’s lagging iPhone sales, coupled with the newer launches of the Mate 10 series and the P20 series have resulted in Huawei capturing a larger slice of the market share from the hands of Apple.

But with Samsung, being the unassailable leader in the mobile business, there is still plenty of room to grow for Huawei.
