Singapore which is already working on a road map for the third and final phase of reopening of its economy and social activities, has preliminarily confirmed 15 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the past 24 hours.

With the latest developments, it takes the total infection tally for the republic to 57,654.

In its brief data released here today, the republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said there were five imported cases who had all been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

"Based on our investigations so far, there are no cases in the community," it said.

The ministry said it was still working through the details of the cases and further updates would be issued tonight.
