Dozens of men in handcuffs shielding their faces as they're being taken away by Brazil police.

These are some of the more than 90 suspects in a massive paedophilia crackdown after a nation-wide operation that reached most of the country's states and the capital district of Brasilia.

The men are accused of a number of charges including producing or distributing pornographic material of children over the internet.

“Just having stored, just having found what the law defines as an explicit sex scene or real or simulated pornography is enough to configure the crime," Brazilian Justice Minister, Torquato Jardim said.

More than 1,000 agents were involved in the operation.

Officials say it was carried out with the help of the U.S. embassy.
