Just one month after the reveal of Microsoft's new Xbox One, Japanese tech giant Sony will debut two new game consoles for PlayStation consumers on September 7. According to The Verge, Sony will introduce both a high-end and a standard model.

The new standard model will be much slimmer and is set to replace the launch PS4 as the standard console model, according to the report. The upgraded high-end version will be equipped with a faster processor, 4k resolution support and improved graphics.
