ACTION camera maker GoPro is set to launch its latest virtual reality (VR) camera on Monday, called the GoPro Omni.

As reported by Mashable, the GoPro Omni will feature six Hero4 cameras inside a cube-shaped rig.

It will shoot simultaneously and produce a 360-degree video, that will surely give users a breathtaking view for their action shots.

The GoPro Omni will be selling for $4,999 (RM19,613.30) with the rig costing $1,500 (RM5,885.17).

The company is also introducing GoPro VR, a website and App on the iOS and Android that will host the Go Pro VR content.

Last year, GoPro launched the GoPro Odyssey, a higher end VR device with a price of $15,000 (RM58,851.67).
