2019 Asian Cup: Malaysia seeks venue switch for North Korea qualifier

The Malaysian government has banned the National football team from playing the 2019 Asian Cup qualifying match against North Korea in Pyongyang on March 28. This is in the wake of soured diplomatic ties with North Korea. Malaysia is instead asking for the qualifier match to be moved to a neutral venue. This was confirmed by the Football Association of Malaysia secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin.
