Thailand booked their berth in the final of the inaugural Axiata Cup 2013 after beating Indonesia 3-0 in the semi-final at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium here tonight.

They will meet Malaysia in the final at 7.30 pm tomorrow.

Malaysia qualified for the final after defeating Asia All Stars by the same margin this afternoon.

At the second semi-final, Thai women's singles player Ratchanok Inthanon outpaced Lindaweni Fanetri, 21-18 and 21-16 to take the first point.

Their men's singles shuttler Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk downed Indonesian Tommy Sugiarto 21-16 and 21-15 to clinch the second point before mixed doubles pair Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thoungthongkam nailed the final slot with a 21-17 and 21-18 win over Indonesia's Ahmad Tontowi and Lilyana Natsir.

The winning team will receive US$400,000 (RM1.24 million), second place US$200,000 (RM620,000), third place US$150,000 (RM465,000) and fourth place US$100,000 (RM310,408).
