Malaysia's seven-time world champion Datuk Nicol Ann David has swept aside Camille Serme of France to set up a clash with Laura Massaro of England in the final of the 2012 World Series Finals in London.

In the semi-final match of the series, held at The Queen's Club on Saturday, the 29-year-old took 23 minutes to outclass Camille 11-5 and 11-8.

According to website www.squasite.co.uk, Nicol anticipates a strong challenge from Laura, whom she beat in the final of the World Open in Cayman Islands last month.

"In our pool match, Laura was just playing better on the day and she's a tough player but I just know that as the week develops, you feel better and better.

"I'm just looking forward to playing the final against her and putting it all out there. Hopefully, I can save the best for last," said Nicol.

Laura notched up one win over Nicol this week, defeating her in their round robin pool match on Thursday.

"To be honest, it's a nice little confidence boost but she (Nicol) is definitely a player who raises her game and she hates to lose, so I expect things to be a lot tougher against her in the final," said Laura.

Laura made it to her first final when she beat countrywoman Jenny Duncalf 6-11, 11-8 and 11-9 in 45 minutes.

The final between Nicol and Laura will be held at 4 pm local time (midnight in Malaysia) Sunday.
