The Muay Thai and kickboxing veteran from Malaysia, said she has dedicated herself to mastering the striking arts and now wants to integrate them with grappling in mixed martial arts (MMA).
"It is my debut in ONE FC and I feel very excited for this fight in Indonesia and for representing Malaysia. I am happy that I can take part in ONE FC as it is the largest MMA promotion in Asia," she said.
Tang will face Indonesia’s first female mixed martial artist, Desi Rahayu in the first ever female mixed martial arts bout in Indonesia.
She is scheduled to join two other fellow Malaysians, Ev Ting and Gianni Subba in the upcoming bout dubbed 'Era Of Champions'.
Another fighter, Ev Ting, a Malaysian who lives in New Zealand is a featherweight champion in that country and will face Indonesia's national kickboxing and submission grappling champion, Yohan Mulia Legowo.
Ting said he is proud to represent Malaysia and will be dedicating his fight to his family and friends back in New Zealand too.
"I think it's going to be a great show for the Indonesian fans. I haven't fought in nearly a year so it's about reintroducing myself out there with a bang.
"They will need to tune in to see more but Legowo better be ready because I'm not playing games," he warned.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s top flyweight prospect, Gianni Subba will duel with top Filipino flyweight and wushu champion, Ruel Catalan.
Subba said he is very excited to get back in action to represent Malaysia after losing his previous fight to Eugene Toquero from the Philippines last month in Manila.
"I have learned a lot from my previous fight and this time, I will definitely come back stronger and more prepared. I will try finishing the fight and not leave it to the judges' decision," he said.
The lineup ONE FC: Era Of Champions has been completed and set to take place on 14 June at Mata Elang International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia with three exciting bouts added to the card.
ONE FC CEO, Victor Cui said 'Era Of Champions' is expected to be the biggest sporting event held in Indonesia this year as the country will witness its first female mixed martial artist, Desi Rahayu, making her ONE FC debut.
