Malaysian MMA hero Ev Ting said on Friday that he aimed to take the ONE Lightweight World Championship title from Philippine fighter Eduard Folayang.

In a post-fight interview, Ting called for a title shot against the reigning world champion who currently holds a record of 17 wins and five losses.

“Eduard Folayang, I am coming to your home to take your belt. See you on April 21st,” said the 27-year-old fighter.

Ting emerged victorious over Iranian fighter Kamal Shalorus in a clash between lightweight contenders at ONE Championship's Throne Of Tigers, last night.

Ting, now a 13-3, has been eyeing a title shot ever since he won the fight against Australia's Rob Lisita, in September last year. The former won via unanimous decision.
