Singaporean MMA sensation Angela Lee retained her ONE women’s atomweight world championship title after beating Jenny Huang of Taiwan via technical knock out (TKO), Saturday night.

Lee’s win ended her challenger’s unbeaten record in a bout that lasted three rounds at ONE Championship’s ‘Warrior Kingdom’ in Bangkok, Thailand.

During the beginning of the fight, 20-year-old Lee overwhelmed Huang, raining her with a volley of punches, elbows and knees.

Huang, 26 years old, tried her best to weather the storm but Lee kept coming, stalking Huang to no end.

By the middle of the third round, the champion had the challenger pinned down on the mat as Lee unleashed ground-and-pound to earn the referee’s stoppage.

Meanwhile, two Malaysians lost their fights to their respective opponents despite putting up a good battle in the cage.

Audreylaura Boniface was bested by Thai-Japanese female atomweight prospect Rika Ishige, while Kelvin Ong was defeated by Sagetdao Petpayathai from Thailand.
