A formula to rejuvenate the national football will be unveiled next week in a meeting between Youth and Sports Minister and Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) executive committee.

Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said a meeting will be held with the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ).

TMJ is also the owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim.

Khairy said the matter has also been brought to FAM president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah who has given his blessing.

“I have to finalise the formula first. Next week I will meet the exco members. I hope they will accept as I am only helping,“ he said after launching the second phase of the Fit Johor programme today.

He stressed that all parties must play their roles in rejuvenating the national football.

The Rembau MP said all the internal issues in the body must be resolved quickly as there are important matches coming up like Suzuki AFP Cup at the end of this year.
