The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) expects to collect RM3 million from its film, 'The Red Warriors (TRW) The Movie', which is expected to be in the cinemas in September.

Its president, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, said they were awaiting for approval from the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas).

"If it gets approval from Finas, the film will be shown on the third week of September," he told reporters at a ceremony to introduce the TRW jersey for this year here Friday.

He said the film, costing RM2 million, took almost a year to complete.

"It is a way to strengthen TRW and also to build the team image," he said. "It is an interesting film because the players are the actors, and I, too , acted in it. The story is about football," he added.

In another development, Annuar said KAFA was in the midst of discussion with an operator of a budget hotel to build a hotel with football as its theme in Kelantan and Kuala Lumpur.
