The Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) discovered several flaws in its safety standards at the Stadium Mohammad IV.

Kelantan JMBP director, Azmi Osman said among the flaws found during a surprise visit this morning include the safety exit control, wiring system, limited emergency lanes and others.

“Among it is the stadium exits where guards should be placed at all doors to guard the doors in case of a fire,” said Azmi when met by reporters here today.

A surprise check was made towards the 49 year old stadium before the start of the Super League on February 16.

Azmi is worried that accidents could occur should the problems not be addressed.

He added that JBPM will complete its full report on the stadium which is currently being painted pink to be handed over to Kelantan Stadium.
