UMNO does not need new allies to win the 14th general election, said UMNO Youth deputy chief Khairul Azwan Harun.

He said the party is experienced in facing many general elections including three-corner fights.

He also expressed his confidence in the systematic involvement, cooperation and election machinery of the party, especially among its Youth wing.

"UMNO is always ready, be it two-corner or three-corner fights. We have also won in such cases," he said after chairing UMNO Youth exco meeting at Putra World Trade Centre today.

"What is important is that the people must feel that their first choice is Barisan Nasional and UMNO," he added.

A research by Invoke Malaysia found that un cases of three-corner fights, voters will choose UMNO and PAS will lose.
