PKR Deputy President, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali today said the claims on Kelantan UMNO and Kelantan Amanah are in cahoots to topple PAS government in the state is slanderous towards the state administration.

He stressed that the allegations are meant to divide the coalition.

“I don’t believe it at all and the conspiracy because although PAS and Amanah have different approaches, their mission is to fight treason and cruelty in UMNO and Barisan Nasional,” said Mohamed Azmin at a media conference after the launch of his first book titled, ‘Membangun Bangsa’ at Pavilion shopping mall here today.

He also reminded all coalition party members to avoid from falling prey towards any quarters who are out to disrupt the party’s unity.

“Be careful with any slanders especially with the coming General Election as it has a divisive impact on the coalition in Pakatan Rakyat or Pakatan Harapan.

“We must remember that all Opposition parties have made a pact for a reform and we must accept this reform agenda as the fundamental of our struggle,” he added.

PKR is constantly in talks with Amanah and PAS on issues within the Opposition pact, said Mohamed Azmin.

“I have discussed with Datuk Mustafa Ali last week, and the discussion with Selangor PAS, has proven positive.

“Yesterday, I have reported the update on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his message was clear, that Keadilan must form a cooperation with PAS to ensure a one-on-one fight,” he said.

Azmin wa commenting on blog post claiming that there is a plot between Amanah and UMNO in Kelantan to topple the PAS government.

PAS' deputy spiritual leader, Datuk Ahmad Yakob said that the party is aware of the alleged plot and is ready to face any possibilities in politics.
