Rompin Member of Parliament Datuk Hasan Arifin said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has lost this judgement after appearing in a video urging Malaysians to participate in the Bersih 5 rally on Saturday.

Hasan claimed that the former premier's action was for his personal political interest.

"Tun Mahathir is 92 years old. I think he has lost his judgement. He used to lead the country but later for personal reasons, he is now willing to wear a yellow shirt, meet Anwar and do anything.

"What he is doing is for his own political interest," he told reporters at the parliament lobby today.

On Sunday, Dr Mahathir was seen wearing a 'free Anwar' badge at a Pakatan Harapan convention in Shah Alam.

"This is not something that should be followed by the younger generation. They should be inculcated with good values.

"Tun Mahathir's action is not a good example and culture to be followed by today's youth. Same goes to the Red Shirts," Hasan added.

In the video featuring Tun Mahathir, he was seen urging Malaysians to voice their dissatisfaction by joining Bersih 5 at Dataran Merdeka or other locations.
