PAS Youth chief Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Aziz said the remark by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that he will not beg PAS to join Pakatan Harapan (PH) has drawn the battle lines in the 14th General Election (GE14).

"A three-cornered fight in Malaysian politics is almost a certainty. Gagasan Sejahtera (GS) comprising PAS and Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (IKATAN) will emerge as the third block to give Malaysians a choice.

"Gagasan Sejahtera will come up against Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH)," he said on his Facebook page on Thursday.

PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang told reporters after a talk at Masjid Rusila, Kuala Terengganu, on Friday that PAS will not cooperate with PPBM if the party continues its ties with the DAP and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah).

Nik Mohamad Abduh said PAS' decision to lead the third block caused the DAP, PKR, Amanah and PPBM to attack PAS and claimed it is a BN ally. - Bernama
