The termination of Datuk Husam Musa from the Islamic party is valid as the decision of the party is final, said PAS Vice-President Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.

The question of whether he receives the termination letter late or the letter did not reach him, does not arise as it is just a technical matter.

“Once we have made a decision, the rule applies. Whether the letter reaches him or not, it is just a matter of technicality.

“Like what I’ve said, when someone wants to divorce his wife, even if he said it in his house, it is binding.

“But he still goes to court to make it official and all,” he was quoted saying by Sinar Online in Kota Bharu today.

Earlier today, Husam wrote to PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang seeking to nullify his expulsion from the party.

The Salor state assemblyman said the expulsion is invalid because it did not adhere to the party constitution.
