Barisan Nasional (BN) admitted that the party's main enemy in the Sarawak state elections this time is DAP.

However, its chairman, Tan Sri Adenan Satem said all local issues raised by DAP have already been resolved.

"We managed to resolved all issues raised by DAP. That's why they had to turn to national issues (instead).

"But national issues like the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) is not relevant in Sarawak.

"Now they (DAP) are not able to highlight local issues," he said during Agenda AWANI's Special interview with Tan Sri Adenan Satem, Thursday night.

Adenan said that DAP often boasts itself as a multi-racial party, but their statement doesn't reflect what have been said.

"They say they are a multi-racial party, but if we look at them, almost all of the DAP leaders are Chinese.

"The people in Sarawak want the party to govern Sarawak state, and not the party of the peninsula," he said.

Early voting is fixed for May 3, while the polling day will take place on May 7. So far BN has already won two seats uncontested.
