DAP has announced the names of 10 of its 29 candidates for the 11th Sarawak State Election on May

DAP Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen made the announcement at the mobilisation of the party machinery at the party headquarters in Kuching here on Tuesday.

Apart from him, who is retaining the Kota Sentosa seat, nine other candidates are Mordi Bimol (Tasik Biru), Wong King Wei (Padungan), Violet Yong (Pending), Christina Chiew (Batu Kawah), Abdul Aziz Isa (Stakan), Sanjan Daik (Mambong), Andrew Nyabe (Kedup), Andrew Edward Luak (Bukit Semuja) and Leon Jimat (Simanggang).

Also present at the ceremony was DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, vice-president Chow Kon Yeow. and treasurer Fong Kui Lun.

DAP will contest in 29 state seats in the election.

In addition to the 14 Chinese-majority seats, DAP will contest in 14 Dayak-majority seats and one seat at a Malay-majority area.
