The Sabah Chief Ministerial candidate has not been determined yet, said Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.

However, he said, the matter will be discussed as soon as possible.

"We will discuss as soon as possible (about the Sabah Chief Ministerial candidate)," he said here, after announcing the victory of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) based on unofficial results at the Sabah UMNO Headquarters here, on Saturday.

Commenting on the possibility of any issue to determine the Chief Ministerial candidate, Bung Moktar said, the problem can arise if it is deliberately sought.

Earlier, BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was reported to have said that the election of the Sabah Chief Minister would be determined by the party's State Assemblymen (ADUN) and their political partners in Sabah.

The matter, he said, would be decided when the GRS coalition secured a sufficient number of seats to form a new state government.
