Pakatan Harapan today officially welcomed PPBM, a party led by former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, into the Opposition pact.

The decision to welcome the party as its fourth partner was made at a Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting.

The Pakatan Harapan secretariat will issue a letter to PPBM of the decision, the council said in a statement.

The statement was jointly signed by PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu.

In the meeting today, the council said they had also agreed to organise an immediate discussion among the four parties to form a joint manifesto and create a new logo.
