The Perak MIC has expressed unwavering support to party president Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam to lead the party.

Its chairman, Datuk V. Elango said the state MIC was confident Dr Subramaniam had various plans to further develop the Indian community.

He criticised the actions of certain quarters making unfounded statements and interfering in MIC affairs.

"There is no need to interfere in other people's business which will only tarnish the image of the party. If there are any problems or grievances, it should be discussed and resolved in the right way," he said at a press
conference here on Tuesday.
