Pas won’t lose from severing their political ties with PKR.

Penang Pas Youth representative, Muhammad Hafiz Alias said this is because PKR does not put Islamic agenda as part of its struggle.

"For us, we do not lose anything from cutting off our tahaluf siyasi with PKR. They don’t give importance to Islam related matters like us,” he said during the Youth Congress debate session at Kedah Pas Complex, today morning.

Yesterday, PAS spiritual leader Hashim Jasin said the party is ready to hold tahaluf siyasi (political cooperation) with any party as long as it is beneficial to the people.

According to Hashim, learning from past experiences, Pas will impose conditions that give importance to Islam before starting any tahaluf siyasi for the welfare, prosperity and peace of society.

The Pas Youth Congress debate has entered its second day since the curtain-raiser on Thursday.

Pas’s 63rd Muktamar will begin tomorrow until Monday.
