The Permatang Pauh division today called on PAS to cut all political cooperation with PKR citing that PKR wanted to be pally-pally with DAP and PAS splinted Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) against the principle of tahaluf siyasi (political cooperation).

Permatang Pauh PAS chief Omar Hassan said a resolution in this was unanimously passed by its members as the actions of PKR could jeopardise the position of PAS when facing Muslim voters in the 14th general election.

He said the decision was taken after PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail continued to work with DAP and Amanah, which were attacking PAS' leadership.

"Cooperation between PAS and PKR can no longer continue as PKR members in this constituency are enticing PAS members to quit the party and join PKR with offers of posts in the Penang DAP government," he told reporters.
