: Pas secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan has pulled out from contesting in the Vice President race as well as one of the spots in the party's Central Working Committee.
The announcement was made in a statement by the Kota Bharu Member of Parliament, today.
According to him, the decision was made as he has complete faith in the current leadership lineup.
The race for the three vice-president positions now involve all three of the incumbents, Idris Ahmad, Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad and Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah as well as the party's Information Chief, Nasruddin Hassan Tantawi.
Pas 63rd Annual Convention (Muktamar) will take place from April 29 to May 1 in Alor Setar, Kedah.
