Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the Barisan Nasional (BN) will continue to serve the people after the coming general election.

He said opposition parties whether they are old or newly set up would be silent when the election is over.

"Believe me, the opposition parties only emerge like mushrooms in a rain and will be quiet when the rain stops," he said when speaking at a breaking of fast function for UMNO Zone 4 and the opening of Al-Hidayah Mosque in Nabawan here Friday night.

Therefore, Musa reminded the people in Pensiangan, Keningau, Tenom and Ranau to be careful and not to be influenced and confused by the propaganda played up by the opposition parties.

Also present were Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Joseph Kurup, Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin, Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, State Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid as well as heads of UMNO Zone 4 divisions namely Datuk Sairin Karno (Keningau), Datuk Ghani Yassin (Pensiangan), Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (Ranau) and Datuk Rubin Balang (Tenom).
