Former PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa will be referred to the party’s disciplinary committee following several complaints made against him recently.

The decision was made at the party's central committee meeting on Saturday.

PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said the committee has taken note about the complaints against Husam.

"The meeting has decided that these complaints contain basis and we will consider disciplinary action (against Husam) according to the party's constitution," he told reporters during a press conference at PAS headquarters today.

He said the proceedings will be fully handled and decided by the committee, chaired by Dr Daeng Sanusi Daeng Mariok.

"The meeting also requested the cooperation from the disciplinary committee to decide this case as soon as possible.

This is important in order to avoid continuous criticisms and accusations, and safeguard the party's interest,” he added.
