Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's method of governing in giving out a lot of 'free money' is angering the Malays.

Former premier, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said this was because Najib is seen to be setting aside the New Economic Policy to gain the support of the Chinese community.

"However, Barisan Nasional's failure in the 13th General Election proves that the Chinese are rejecting Najib's governance.

"All citizens, be it the Malays, Chinese, Indian or those from Sabah and Sarawak no longer have faith in Najib. UMNO members and leaders need to realise that UMNO and BN will lose if Najib leads them in the 14th General Election.

"When UMNO loses, the Malays will condemn the leadership, causing the sacred party to be so weak until it is rejected by the Malays themselves," said Dr Mahathir said in his latest blog entry on chedet.cc.

Dr Mahathir said, should UMNO lose one more time, there will be no way for them to recover.

He also said it was not easy for him to pen all these down but for the sake of the people and the country.

"There are many UMNO members who put blind faith in their leader. I'm loyal as well but my loyalty lies with the party and the Malays representing it," he said.

Dr Mahathir added that he was not senile when he wrote this entry.

"I'm not senile although I'm almost 90 years old. Whoever says that I am are only deceiving themselves.

"The Malays can only be saved if they think put the nation before themselves," he said.

Dr Mahathir added that many are predicting that UMNO and BN will lose the next general election because there have been too many accusations hurled towards Najib which he was not answering.
