Muar Member of Parliament Datuk Razali Ibrahim is not afraid to keep his his Parliamentary although it is referred as a ‘hot seat’ for UMNO at the 14th General Election (GE14).

Razali, who is also Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, said democratic process is a political game.

“We will face anyone from the Opposition camp even if the candidate is a president of a political party,” stressed Razali, who has served the constituency for three terms.

He was responding political musings about the possibility of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia President, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin leaving Pagoh to contest in Muar.

Razali also stressed that is up to Barisan Nasional (BN) leadership to determine the most suitable candidate to retain the seat.

At GE13, Razali defeated PKR candidate, Nor Hizwan Ahmad with 20,867 votes.
