Malaysian-born international singer Yuna admitted that she “sucks”.

Fans may be shocked by the statement made by the popular singer-songwriter on Instagram on Wednesday.

However, rest assured that the word ‘sucks’ in this context is being used for a public service announcement for a campaign called Strawless Ocean and the usage of straws.

It is meant to raise awareness as Americans use 500 million straws a day.

In the video, several celebrities explain that by 2050, there will be more plastic than fishes in the ocean.

Aside from Yuna, the video also featured actor Adrian Grenier as the co-founder of Lonely Whale Foundation and actor Kendrick Sampson.

Yuna is still making waves in the international arena following a feature in ‘Vogue Arabia’ last month.

Previously, she was given the honor to interview music legend Quincy Jones following the launch of the JBL Audio E55BT Quincy Edition headphones.

On Saturday, she announced her engagement to Adam Yousof Mohamad Sinclair in a ceremony held at her parents’ house in Shah Alam.
