Two individuals who have been said to have boarded the Malaysian Airlines (MAS) MH370 with false passports, were reported to have purchased the tickets at the same time.

According to a CNN report, both the tickets were bought from the China Southern Airlines using the Thailand baht, with the same price.

CNN reported that the information was obtained from Travelsky, China’s e-ticket confirmation system. The tickets serial numbers were in order, suggesting that they were issued together.

Before this, Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the authorities are investigating all those listed as passengers of MH370 following reports of two more individuals using false passports.

This was following reports that two people, an Italian and Austrian, reported to have boarded the flight but was found later that they did not. The two had reported their passports missing, in Thailand.

"We are investigating the whole list of passengers in the flight, not just the four people,” he said in a press conference at Hotel Sama-Sama, Sunday.

The Italian, Luigi Maraldi had reported his passport stolen in August last year. He is currently in Phuket, Thailand while the Austrian had reported his passport stolen, two years ago.

Meanwhile, travelguide.com had reported that passport holders from the below 51 countries and districts can stay without visa for up to 72 hours in their transit using the Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Hongqiao International Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Shenyang Taoxian International Airport and the Dalian International Airport:
