Fourteen houses in 25 areas around the city were damaged by fallen trees during the thunderstorm last night.

Johor Bahru district Malaysian Defence Forces (APM) officer Lieutenant Mohd Aziz Jupri said, however, no casualty was reported.

He said among the affected areas were Larkin, Bandar Baru Uda, Taman Mutiara, Taman Daya and Adda Height, with most houses had their roofs flown away.

Losses incurred are still being ascertained, he said when contacted today. - BERNAMA
