A Thai beauty queen has been crowned Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress 2015 Friday night, beating 15 other contestants from nine countries.

Grace with joy and jubilant, Yada Theppanom, 23, received her new crown from Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress President and Owner, Tan Sri Danny Ooi.

Philippine-born Alexandra Mae Rosales was named the first runner-up, while Indonesian-born Falentina Cotton, the second runner-up.

All winners walked away with a crown, cash and prizes, trophy and professional make-up course.

Malaysia's Joey Ong Ai Ee, 25, won the Miss Friendship title.

Among other awards presented to the participants were Best in Social Media, Best National Dress, Best in Talent and Miss Elegant.

In conjunction with Malaysia being the Chair of ASEAN for 2015, D'Touch International and The Centre for the ASEAN Logistics Studies (CALS) jointly organised ASEAN Transport and Logistics Awards 2015 (ATLAS), which culminated in the crowning of the Miss South East Tourism Ambassadress 2015.

The event showcased the unique and rich ties that ASEAN nations share, not just in terms of trades, but also in culture, friendship, tourism and goodwill.

ATLAS are to recognised and honour ASEAN's homegrown transport and logistics companies which have contributed significantly to the growth of their home and ASEAN by making the movement of cargo via sea, land and air possible.
