Former deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will join forces with PKR on a nationwide roadshow to explain the latest issues surrounding the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

He said the roadshow is aimed to gather people together and disseminate information in a medium that is more easy to understand.

Although Tan Sri Muhyiddin denied that he will join PKR, but he will however, support the party's initiative.

"I think the cooperation to address the country's issues is something we cannot avoid. Whether a member or not, is not the issue, but the fighting spirit.

"What's important is PKR's initiative in inviting everyone, that remains top priority and should be the focus right now," he said during a media conference here today.

Also present were PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dan PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin on July 16, expressed his support towards Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's new political party formation that would ally with all other opposition parties.
