PAS' Youth Wing has urged the party leadership to solve the party's internal problems immediately as otherwise it would have a deep effect on youth members.

Speaking during the winding up session of the 60th PAS Muktamar in Parit Raja here yesterday, Youth chief Suhaizan Kaiat said the continuing internal crisis would have a negative impact on youth members as they are not mature enough to deal with such problems.

At the same time, Suhaizan denied PAS youth members contributed to the internal problems with their involvement in the "Kajang Move", the differences between party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and his deputy Mohamed Sabu , better known as Mat Sabu, and the act of condemning one another.

"Our older brothers could have been those involved," he said, adding that the Youth wing were not involved in the walkout staged by a few when Mat Sabu was giving his speech at the opening of the wing's muktamar in Kota Tinggi.

He claimed that the group that walked out was specially brought in by certain quarters.

Suhaizan said PAS was blessed that Abdul Hadi was the president, Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat the spiritual leader and Datuk Dr Haron Din the deputy spiritual leader.

Meanwhile, Women's wing chief Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff in her winding up said the women will put greater emphasis on helping the people prepare themselves in facing the increasing cost of living and other economic challenges.
